Hello Classmates, I really enjoyed Dr. Grandin's speech. She is very intelligent and a very big artist. I have to say that I was surprised to watch Dr. Grandin speak so clearly. The reason I say I am surprised is because I have two family members who have autism. One is 26 years old and has it very severe. He does not speak he only knows sign language. He does not know when he need's to use the bathroom. He has no social skills at all. On the flip side of it though he understands what we say to him. This makes me emotional talking about it. I love him so very much and wish he could speak.
